What's the typical timeframe for custom curtains and blinds?

Most orders take 3 to 4 weeks from order to installation. We'll confirm the exact timeline during your consultation.

Can I see samples before ordering?

Absolutely. Visit our Pemulwuy showroom by appointment, or we can bring samples to you via our mobile showroom. You can see, feel, and test fabrics in your own space.

How much does a consultation cost?

Consultations are completely free. We discuss your needs, show samples, take measurements, and provide a detailed quote with no obligation.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Mastercard, Visa and American Express with no credit card surcharge, as well as cash.

Is there a surcharge for paying by card?

No. There is no service fee or surcharge on any card payment, including Amex.

Do you offer financing options?

Yes. We offer 0% interest payment plans through Brighte. Ask us about payment options during your consultation or contact us for more details.

What if I need a specific size or custom measurement?

Custom sizing is our specialty. We measure and craft everything to your exact specifications, whether it's special window spaces or void installations.

What's the difference between blockout and sheer curtains?

Sheer curtains filter light while maintaining privacy and elegance. Blockout curtains provide complete darkness, perfect for bedrooms or home theatres. We can recommend the best option for each room.

Do you offer installation services?

Yes, we handle everything from design consultation to professional installation. Our team ensures perfect hanging and a flawless finish in your home.

Do you service areas outside Pemulwuy?

Yes. We service all of Sydney and surrounding areas. Our mobile showroom visits homes for consultations, and our installation team covers the entire region.

Automation & motorisation

What window coverings can be automated?

Curtains, blinds and outdoor blinds can all be brought to life with automation. We use Somfy and Alpha, two of the leading motor brands in Australia, to deliver whisper-quiet, app-controlled, voice-ready window coverings that open with the sun and close with a single tap.

Which smart home systems work with your motorised blinds?

Our motors integrate with Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Apple Home and Siri, and Control4 via the Somfy TaHoma hub or the Alpha Neo Link Box. You can control rooms individually, set daily schedules and link blinds into scenes.

Can you motorise my existing roller blinds?

Yes. Most existing roller blinds can be retrofit motorised without replacing the fabric or brackets. A 12V battery tube motor slides inside the existing tube and charges by USB-C. Battery life is typically 3 to 6 months per charge, and no electrician is required.

Care & returns

How do I care for my new curtains or blinds?

We provide care instructions with every installation. Most Sheer Curtain fabrics can be washed in the washing machine depending on the size of washing machine you have. Blockout Curtains are to be dry cleaned by professional curtain cleaners. Blinds can be wiped with a soft cloth.

Can I return or exchange my order?

Custom items are made to order, so returns aren't available. However, we work closely with you during design to ensure you love your choice. If there's an issue, we'll find a solution.
